Brief:

Initially to advise on appropriate levels of base salary and annual bonus for the top management team and, subsequently, to design and implement long term equity incentive arrangements.

Solution:

  • MM & K identified an appropriate peer group of comparable companies and agreed the list with our client
  • MM & K identified the roles to be benchmarked and obtained an accurate role description from the client
  • MM & K researched practice by the selected peer group companies and prepared a benchmarking report showing the position of our client in the market
  • The next steps are:
    • to work with our client to design and implement appropriate long term equity incentive arrangements for senior executives below the top management level
    • to agree a plan specification and
    • to provide all necessary documentation for the agreed plan design.
