Brief:

A newly formed UK Oil & Gas Exploration & Production Company required strategic and operational HR support during the early days of existence and the crucial period leading up to a flotation.

Solution:

Identify detailed HR objectives to enable and facilitate the achievement of corporate objectives in the short and medium term
Discuss and prepare a comprehensive and flexible policy document covering all aspects of expatriation. Provide supporting material to indicate that the proposed document was based on an understanding of market practice and prepare a secondment letter to enable the expatriation process once the final policy was agreed and implemented.
Discuss and prepare employment documentation for UK employees – offer letters, statements of terms and conditions of employment and a UK Employment Policy Manual – ensuring legislative compliance and adoption of best practices.
Be on hand to provide ad hoc advice and support with day to day HR issues
