In November 2006, Independent Remuneration Solutions (“IRS”) became a trading division of MM & K. IRS principal Cliff Weight has continued to work with the enlarged group

The market for high quality, independent remuneration advice is altering and our smaller quoted, AIM and private clients now need additional services. As part of MM & K, IRS continue to provide high quality, personal services on directors’ and senior executives’ remuneration and, in addition, is able to help clients:

  • implement employee share plans (including drafting, detailed design, advice on tax and use of trusts)
  • manage and administer such plans
  • design and implement incentive and performance management schemes below senior executive level
  • develop all employee plans, e.g. SAYE share options and Share Incentive Plans (also known as SIPs or Buy As You Earn.)

We continue to conduct our EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS TOTAL REMUNERATION SURVEY and our INDEPENDENT CHAIRMAN AND NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR SURVEY.  MM & K also conducts specialist remuneration surveys in the private equity, hedge fund and upstream energy sectors. Access to this data and market knowledge will further boost our comparative remuneration analyses and the robustness of our recommendations.
